Jio to revolutionize the laptop industry too?

After revolutionizing the telecom and internet industry in India,

Jio is now planning to do the same with the laptop Industry.

They are planning to bring laptop cost as low as ₹15000 and that too without compromising the quality as they did with the Jio book.

Wondering how it is possible?

A laptop is made up of various hardware components like memory, processor, etc. which makes a laptop perform its tasks but makes the laptop expensive. The better the hardware components better a laptop performs and the higher the price goes.

What Jio is planning is to provide you with a terminal in the laptop and the entire processing of the laptop will happen at the back end in the Jio cloud. It will decrease the cost of a laptop up to 15000 and a monthly subscription to Jio Cloud. Being not dependent on the hardware Jio Cloud can be used on any laptop or even smart TV. The company officials said that they are planning to partner with laptop manufacturing companies like HP asus etc. to launch their laptops with the Jio Cloud.

You may see an HP laptop with Jio Cloud soon.

If pulled well Jio can revolutionize the laptop industry in India as they did with the Internet making it accessible to everyone. But there are some complications to this, you will require internet use the laptop as everything is happening on the cloud which can create some complications as high-speed internet is not available everywhere in the country.

This can be the start of a new laptop era in India but it is not going to be easy for JIo to pull this off. it is a long journey that they have to cover.
